Pintail drake by Perry Wilcoxen of Liverpool, IL, (1862-1954). Check in the neck area. Very good original gunning condition. In Decoys and Decoy Carvers of Illinois Parmalee and Loomis state that “There are few Illinois River carvers who can compare with Perry Wilcoxen in the number of years devoted to making decoys and in actual quantity of birds produced”. Just a fine working decoy by this well respected maker. 400-600 353. Pintail Drake by Rudolph Maurer (1865- 1939) of Pekin, IL. Appears to be in good original paint.
